Vlatos 1st June 2019 – Starting today Museum Vlatos Kissamos will be open daily from 10 AM until 1 PM (closed on Monday). You will find the museum in Vlatos on the road to Milia Mountain Retreat, 200m after the cafeneon on the left.

This little folklore museum shows the contents found in the old school, portraits of Greek and Cretan heroes, various metal and wooden tools as well as textiles and looms from the village. The museum is run on donations, so when you visit, please leave a small contribution so the portraits can be framed and the looms can be restored.
