To celebrate the new year the syllogos of Plokamiana organized a gathering in Chrisoskalitisa. About 100 local people ate great Cretan food, played the lottery and danced to live music. Here are the pictures.
New floor for old church
In the past week the church of Vlatos got cleaned, the wooden floor was removed from the ceiling, all wood was oiled and a new floor was installed. Now let’s start the music, the theater and the laughs!

Inaxorio helps the syllogos of Vlatos with establishing a small historic museum. Part of the exhibition will be 2 working looms. The knowledge of these ancient machines is getting lost so it is quite a challenge to restore these beauties….
